Typically we like to schedule minimum of one hour for couple’s
casual portraits, early mornings or late evenings are best for
outdoor photographs.
Clothing:
Coordinate your outfits from head to toe. Keep the tonal range
of clothing in the same group; don't mix lights & darks in
the same outfit, maybe different shades of same colors. We suggest
bringing a variety of clothing and accessory options with you.
Pastels, earth tones like khakis and jeans photograph well. Dark
leather on the other hand photographs great because of its texture
and reflective properties. For beautiful detail and depth consider
denims, knits, cords. Be sure to coordinate your shoes with your
outfit. Avoid Bold or brightly colored patterns or prints.
Make-up:
Women- should wear some makeup, applied lightly, to accent
eyes and lips. Use of makeup will also blend skin tones for more
pleasing portraits.
Men - shave about an hour prior to scheduled session
Hands:
It is recommended both men and women invest in a manicure. Pastel
or neutral nail color
Hair:
Women
- Have your hair styled by someone you trust. Or, if you will
be using professional hair and make-up artist for your wedding,
we suggest you have your hair and make-up done by the same for
the session.
Men - Have your hair cut or trimmed about a week before
the portrait so your hair will have a chance to look more natural
